Quenten Allen, Founder

Quenten is a hands-on engineer with over 16 years of experience in scale-up, process engineering, supply chain build-out, Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, and workforce management in the CPG space. He spent ten years in various roles at Fortune 500 companies such as Kraft, Nabisco, and Nature’s Bounty, with the balance of his experience innovating, inventing, and scaling- both internally, and on behalf of Bay Area food and biotech start-ups. He specializes in wet and dry process design and equipment selection and is an expert at COGS modeling and technical productivity workstream ideation and execution.

In his free time, Quenten is in search of the holy grail of audio listening experiences and owns over 300 vinyl records.

Alex Belknap, Founder

Alex is a food process and manufacturing engineer with over 15 years of experience working in food and beverage. He has excelled in traditional design-build engineering for major companies including Kellogg’s and Smuckers, along with driving manufacturing growth for start-ups including JUST and Smashmallow. Alex brings strong technical knowledge of product commercialization and a passion for food.

Like the rest of the world, Alex spent his early pandemic days making homemade bread and pizza, utilizing science and laziness to perfect the no-knead dough recipe.
